At this point in 2007, the DNC had hosted five debates, and a sixth was on August 4th 2007.

The GOP is hosting their first one the day after tomorrow, then another one in six weeks.

This time around the Dem's are waiting to see what the Republicans say first. It is Hillary's MO right now, not to say anything and wait to see what other people say. Lack of leadership.

Also, I think the Dem's are really scared. This was supposed to be Hillary's shot ... they were able to convince Warren not to run. Sander's is a side-show, to take heat away from Hillary.
