Competition over women doesn't just manifest as physical fights. If dan is too dumb to figure that out then it's just not even worth the time.
 
The idea that men compete for women the way herd animals fight for a harem is a delusion held by insecure men who think the reason they can't get a date is because they are surrounded by superior men.

Facebook is probably the worst thing that has happened to insecure people in the dating world. Well, come to think of it, Facebook is probably the worst thing that has happened, period.

Simple fact: People do not interact face-to-face with each other anymore. It's all online. Ironically, I'm saying this online. Well, there goes my hypocrisy. Okay okay, I'm one to blame!

Shame on you.

Why is facebook the worst thing that happened to insecure people. They can pick and choose their most flattering photos. They can pretend to be someone completely different.

They can do that on Lit, too.

Well, hence the irony of the post and my own hypocrisy that I pointed out. Social media has given us all (including myself, as to not be judgmental) a way to hide behind a screen and live our social lives online. This enables the "insecure" people and gives them a safe haven instead of forcing them to venture out to get similar affection from other people.

I have my own insecurities. I'm not denying that. :)
 
Men have been doing it since the beginning of time. Survival of the fittest. Only the best use to get to reproduce. Sad thats changed... The whole Darwin thing actually.

The thing is, we all do. It is the most delicious of ironies when someone who busts on others for being insecure, gets their button pushed in public.

As for social media giving people a safe haven, well that is absolutely true.

I apologize for coming across as judgmental. It really was not my intent. I guess my thoughts weren't expressed well on paper. I'm not the best writer, which is also kind of irony since I'm on a site dedicated to authors and stories.

Okay, I quit the internet. Uninstalling all software. :D
