Not "badly." I was 11. We were in Colorado at the Sand Dunes. I was screwing around and my family was walking in. Somehow I got separated from them and couldn't see where they had gone. Ended up walking a long way to a road, and then essentially hitch-hiking to a ranger station. I was in deep shit trouble from it...
Are you any good with map and compass?

even as a Brooklyn raised girl, I went horseback riding for years so I have that skill. I think they are missing out on a lot more than relying on GPS. I listen and talk to my younger coworkers and some don't know simple things like format of a written letter or how to cook a basic meal. The real world is going to hit some people hard.

Um...probably not well...
I try to be logical and see the other person's point of view. I'm not always able to though. Sometimes I lose my temper. Sometimes I get stubborn. Sometimes, I yell or curse or whatever. Sometimes I'm able to be the one who finds the "middle ground" and the compromise. It just depends on all kinds of things.
