I'm a retired psychologist who studied folks since 1967 when I was a larval freshman. In 1967 queer was a bonafide mental disorder, sugar caused hyperactivity, and mom's made their boys schizophrenic. I evolved and learned to be skeptical of nifty propositions that come along. Like I have no idea what a gender is, sex I know. Sex has physical properties that exist. In 1967 gender referred to mental constructs with no sex or other physical traits....pronouns for example.
