Subtitles. Easy or hard to come up with?

I wont say I have a talent for story subtitles but I do know theyre no problem to think up. Like this new one, GOD KEPT SUNDAY FOR HIMSELF, AND LET THE DEVIL HAVE THE REST. The story is Trailer Trash Devils Chapter 5.

I always struggle. I know they help draw in readers, so I try for something that's both catchy and descriptive, but I'm rarely satisfied with mine.

I trip on them as well because that-with the title-is what gets attention on the new story list.

And yes James moved into a new trailer:D

Yes, I needed a Rebel flag. Youre not real trailer trash unless you got one.

Lit. isn't amenable to subtitles, because there isn't room in the title field. You'd have to put it down at the top of the text, where it just confuses more than helps. The descriptor isn't a subtitle. They serve different purposes and should be constructed differently.

I have difficulty keeping the sub-title down to the length of the available field.

Talk about buses re-purposed. In Iowa there is this big bicycle ride called "RAGBRAI" (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Around Iowa), thousands, many thousands of people participate. Anyway the teams that do the whole ride have these old school buses that follow them and meet at each night's camp. They aren't to live in, but most have roof storage that make do for evening lounges. Showers beds, the whole nine yards. And really cool paint jobs.

Google images for ragbrai buses.
