Hello all,

Does the inside of the vibrating head, the spinning weight need to be lubed? what lube? grease or oil?
How do you take apart the head? There is some hard glue that holds the 2 screws in place. Do you bother to re glue it after?

Is it safe to add a few drops of 3-IN-ONE multi purpose oil in the motor at the ends?

What is the black soat like dust all around the motor? Is it a sign the motor has been stressed badly?

How do you get that spining spring out of the white plastic fan part?

Would taking the white fan part off the motor shaft ruin it? It looks like it isn't made to come off at all.

Longevity.

What makes all the noise on a wand after a while? I have tried so hard to pinpoint the loud fine buzzy noise, it sounds like it could be the motor equally as much as the inside of the head.

As far was i can tell using g spot attachments like in anal, attached to penis or just using two wands close to each with differing vib settings, causes them to fail quite quickly like 6-12months. As apose to just using a single wand against your self, which lasts alot longer.

Normally I would just buy another wand, but they don't make the good original anymore.

If someone can please help me that would be great, thanks.

I have been told that the Hitachi magic wand can't be sold in the EU now because it fails EU electrical safety standards. I don't think it's available in any standard EU voltages.

I have a perfectly satisfactory clone from Lovehoney.co.uk which meets all European safety standards.

I've blown up a couple clones myself... the original Hitachi I had from years ago was the hardiest by far. Unfortunately I gave it away before moving to a country with a different voltage... had I known what I know now I would've just bought a converter. Grr.

Anyway! My best advice... avoid using it for more than 20 mins at a time. Or it might blow up. :3
