General Board After Dark

I died for beauty, but was scarce
Adjusted in the tomb,
When one who died for truth was lain
In an adjoining room.

He questioned softly why I failed?
"For beauty," I replied.
"And I for truth - the two are one;
We brethren are," he said.

And so, as kinsmen met a-night,
We talked between the rooms,
Until the moss had reached our lips,
And covered up our names.

I Died For Beauty

I was talking seriously… Not intending to be too intrussive tell me if it's not ok...
But I know that you've been going through some bad circumstances and changing your avatar towards such a grim one… It's not like you . Hoping if there is anything on your mind… I would be interested in talking if you feel like it… until yr. friends get online

Don't you just love that metallic Rickenbacker sound?

(that's me talking)

I so wish I were more educated in this area… I always thought of myself as being a bit artistically inclined but unfortunately in the area of music / instruments - almost nil education during my upbringing or later …

Can I ask - what is your background in this area? I always suspected your education (high school etc college) was in this domain

You don't really need to be smart or educated to appreciate the arts, like the snobs would have you believe. If you're driving across a bridge or about to be sliced open by somebody, you would hope they were over-educated in that field. As far as I know no one has died from a missed note.
