So this happened today -

We had our very first showing on the house at 8:30 this morning - an offer was made for full price, we pay closing. Of course it was accepted.

I know! We have two more showings today so the only thing they can possibly offer us is full price with them paying closing. The realtor said we'll do the showings just in case but at least now it's no pressure.

I can finally use my kitchen and not feel like I have to scrub the toilet every time someone uses it!

Thank you! Living with the ex has sucked - makes it hard to really move on. I cannot tell you how much I have cried this week trying to get the house ready and finding little things that reminded me how things SHOULD have been. But now, now I get to look forward to the future and my cute little apartment with the little!

I cannot tell you how much I have cried this week trying to get the house ready and finding little things that reminded me how things SHOULD have been. I can sympathize, having been through divorces and moving. Moving recently was hellish. Mostly because there's also a timer on everything and you have to change every tiny detail of your life, things you don't want to change.

Stud - my work would FLIP if I did a hoop. I'm going to have to do a clear retainer for work as it is. My coworker has a stud and she covers her with a band-aid. I'm going with the clear retainer and not saying anything

I'm considering a tattoo, but I have no idea how much medication would be required

Yes! We had a great time. Hung out, watched "Maze Runner" which was great to make fun of, and watched a few "IZombie" episodes, talked video games and my current and contagious obsession with Mass Effect 'cause I got her to play.

Cross stitch my daughter made me for Christmas...

In honor of the first time I watched a horror film with my daughter. She was very young and she didn't like me watching movies alone, she wanted to be there. I watched "Army of Darkness" and then figured - hey that wasn't so bad, it's kinda funny, it's part of a series, so I promised her she could watch Evil Dead with me.

Oh holy shit, gut bucket horror, blood everywhere, eviscerations...not funny. So there's a scene with a guy getting yanked under the stairs and being eaten...I'm thinking "Oh shit, I've ruined her life, it's over..."

I turned to look at her and she says calmly "Mommy, that's what happens when you don't hold onto the railing."

Best movie watching partner ever.

Yeah, I lucked out in having sensible kids that were able to police their own media. My daughter was just determined to be involved in everything, especially movie watching, so she was there for just sitting next to me and sharing popcorn. My son loved video games but wouldn't play zombie games for the longest time, just saying "Scares me."

The cross stitch is fantastic. We spent a whole year mostly just watching videos (I'd cut off cable) and me doing cross stitch, favorite flowers for every female in the family and then a HUGE Christmas tree skirt with 3 angels. So she remembers the time period and honors it in style.

I do like the hoop and think it's very pretty.

I never thought I had a high pain tolerance until I went into the hospital with my son and was (a) told I was already 5 cm dilated and having contractions (I felt okay) and (b) my epidural failed because apparently the discs in my back are very tight. After the second attempt with THAT needle I said I was good.

But I think depending where you got your tattoo (stick the fleshy parts) and the size you'd be okay. I am contemplating a third one down my spine that says "You are my sunshine" with my son's name and his date of birth birth.
