Tip, only for people who like pic posts, but not all the quoted repeats of the pic

If you like picture posts now and then:

  • And even if you love a picture, you don't want to see the picture over again when people quote the picture
  • Put "that guy", the one who quotes every picture they like, on ignore. There's usually only one or two people who quote everything.
  • Then, at least the repeats from "that guy" won't be visible. Your picture viewing experience will be greatly improved.
  • Remember, if you use this tip, you're also blocking everything else that person says. Just something to keep in mind.
  • No offense intended, to all the "that guys" out there. Just a tip, intended for others who wish you'd just say, "@whoever posted a great pic: Wow, great pic, I love it!"

Most of the time I like to see what they have to say about the pics

Is it a memory issue? Do you not have space?
@Recidiva: Ok, I gotta ask. Was that directed at me? Because you quoted j1biboy, but the context of your comment looked like it was meant for me. But from one of your earlier comments, you said you were good at internet. I'm confused! :D

Also, just a general comment: When 20 different readers all quote the same picture so you end up with one picture copied 20 times, I realize I have to take that in stride. But just as often, there will also be one person, who singlehandedly quotes pretty much every picture in the thread. Blocking that one person is pretty big bang for the blocking buck.

Crap, different people, similar names.

I'd be ashamed, but really, be more distinctive!

Unfortunately your way doesn't provide enough context, considering you might be quoting one person's picture that might be a few pages back. Easier to just individually quote, in my opinion, otherwise it gets terribly confusing for the simpleminded and those with difficulty distinguishing such as I.

But basically you have the right to block whoever the hell, including me, just because I fucked up names and such.
