Video to Written Conversions

Kind of like a novelized version of a movie. How would you guys approach taking the video and turning it into a written story?

The video itself is fairly shallow. So I was thinking, taking little to no dialogue, just the generals setting/characters would be carried over.

I have some brain stormed ideas, but I am curious how other people would approach this.

We've had contest of writing stories to photographs here. This wouldn't be much different, although more limiting because it already pins down a storyline of sorts.

Well, you know how the guys who write the show Game of Thrones turned a book into a show and fucked it up .... I'd do the opposite.

Choose a character and do their point of view .... or do every ones at one time .... paint the broad picture and then toss in their thoughts.

Haven't read the books, but my daughter has and she has become livid with the show, says she is done with it.

I was done with it last season lost its shine to me.
