I dread my next power bill. My AC's struggling to maintain 75-76. I like it cooler than that, and it's not even summer yet. :(

When was last time you had the unit cleaned? Dirty coils reduce the efficiency of your a/c unit.

I was all set to bounce to go for some eats, then realized I hadn't recharged my mobile battery pack. I usually remember to plug it in before going to bed when being out the previous night.

Shit takes forever to juice up, too.

fuuuuuuuuuuck :mad::mad::mad:

Hmmm, not sure. The unit's not even a couple of years old, but it is in an area that gets muddy.

You could clean the coils yourself but it'd be much wiser to call a technician. He'll not only clean the unit but check the compressor, capacitors, freon, oil the blower motors if needed, etc. I assume you've changed the filter, no?

Somewhere in the last year or two I've turned into my grandmother.

All I want to do is nap.

92-year-old grandma runs marathon

Published: 4:59 pm, Monday, 1 June 2015

A 92-year-old US grandmother has become the oldest woman to finish a marathon.

A smiling Harriette Thompson, aged 92 years and 65 days, was cheered by dozens of onlookers and supporters as she completed San Diego's Rock n Roll marathon in seven hours, 24 minutes and 36 seconds.

Speaking to her hometown newspaper, the Charlotte Observer, Thompson said she felt "a little stiff" after the race.

"I was really tired at one point. Around mile 21, I was going up a hill and it was like a mountain," she said.

"I was thinking, 'This is sort of crazy at my age.' But then I felt better coming down the hill. And my son Brenny kept feeding me all this wonderful carbohydrates that kept me going."

The previous oldest woman marathon runner was another American, Gladys "Gladyator" Burrill, who was 92 years and 19 days old when she did the Honolulu event in 2010.

Thompson participated in the marathon to raise money for cancer research, a disease she has herself survived.

The grandmother to 10 grandkids also completed the race last year with a time of seven hours, seven minutes and 42 seconds.

The oldest male marathon runner is Fauja Singh, who was 101 when he retired from racing in 2013.

I remember seeing something about this a week ago or so.

Pretty amazing stuff.

Is the old guy that retired a couple of years ago still alive? 103 is pretty high, in age and body temperature.

I woke up this morning already thinking when I could schedule a nap in, it didn't happen.

I do this pretty much every day.

Trying to find windows of time where I can sneak in an hour or so.

They're very addictive. Kind of like crack, but not as bad for you.
