When my sister was preparing for her surgery, she had a going away party for the "girls"...where she laughed and cried and mourned their passing with her women friends. She, too, beat her cancer...been 10 years now! Each of our journeys is our own and proceeds at the pace it must! *Big bear hug!!!!* You know...anytime ya need to talk...I am here! *kissing your hand softly*

funny thing is that decades ago, I made a breast mold at a women's spirituality even. This was way back before this idea went mainstream -- now they sell kits in Babies R Us for pregnant women to make belly molds. It was quite an intimate thing, as you can't do this on yourself. The dear woman friend who laid layer after layer of plaster strips on my breasts left me a phone message "can't wait to meet the new ones!"

That breast mold lived in our bathroom for years, but I pitched it in the orgy of discarding that accompanied downsizing a few years ago. Now I wish I had it.
