Do some men really prefer women who are older or women who are larger than normal? Sometimes, on my darker days (and as someone who might or might not fit both definitions depending on who is doing the defining), I wonder (worry?) if they are simply men who think they may have better luck and less competition if they profess a desire for women who may too often get passed over in the "real world" in favor of their younger, slimmer sisters.

Or perhaps they don't necessarily prefer those types physically, but suspect that those types of women may be more stable, emotionally available, or in some ways, more vulnerable?

I think it is hard to make generalizations. I will say I like women of all shapes and forms. Mature, curvier women are some of my favorites.

Yz,I've always been attracted to large and older women. From the first time I spied into my neighbors garage to view the old rigid tool calendars, I was hooked on seeing well developed and obviously older women. I lost my virginity to a divorcee, and it was due to confidence on her part that brought me to that point and she was insatiable for everything in life.

I have always loved BBW, and had until recently, a SSBBW, that was/is an incredible woman that I love to this day. Her family religious background and a 21yr age gap, prevent us from taking our relationship to the next level!

this is way to deep for me. Life is not this much pop-psychology ....My simple answer....I married one. she wasn't vulnerable...she wasn't younger, slimmer or desperate, she was never passed over. I've never thought I'd have better luck, Just lucky I met her. The question begs to be asked. If she accepts me are these woman, by your definition settling for second best.

I just like the way curvier women look...doesn't have to be a BBW but doesn't hurt her. I just don't like skinny women. The world was lusting over Megan Fox and I just didn't see it.

I would hook up with an SSBBW or even bigger before I would give a second look to a skinny woman.

This is just awesome !!

I much prefer larger women. The "model" type of body does nothing for me - the BBW types really get my engine running. To each their own but, my favorite thread is the one with BBW photos. Delicious!

In general, I prefer women with a curvier build. The definition of "BBW" is slippery, and means different things to different people. Since I was in my late teens, I've tended to be attracted to women who have broad hips, and are "larger" than the "model type." My suspicion is that they are actually about "average" if we were to look at the actual size distribution (I'm going by news reports I've seen about "the average dress size" etc).

As a guy, I've been privy to a lot of "locker room" type discussions. Guys sitting around, talking about women. And I can tell you that what men consider to be the most attractive varies quite dramatically. I have a male friend who is really quite good looking by the usual "conventional standards." He married a woman that many people called "plain." She was not thin. Not blonde (moussy brown was how one man described her). More a Amy Farrah Fowler than a Penny. I know he didn't "settle." And he's loyal and loves her, and is turned on by her.

(I also married a curvier woman, and she's older than me, but we were young when we married, I didn't "settle" I was in passionate love, and I still find her attractive...she's older and has put on a few pounds, but I still get aroused by her!).

As for the age of women: I prefer women who are reasonably close to me in age. While certainly youth is attractive, and physically I find young women attractive, when I meet them, or talk to them, I'm not as interested. It really has more to do with having things in common than anything else. What I've found interesting is that as I've grown older, my physical attracting to women my age has not declined. 25 years ago, I would have found very few 50 year old women physically attractive. Today, I find many of them attractive.

I started watching episodes of CSI (Las Vegas) again. I watched it some when it first came out in 2000. I was about 34 at the time. I remember finding the character "Sarah Sidle" very attractive. And while the character "Catherine Willows" was attractive, I honestly remember thinking, "she's too old." The actress, Marg Helgenberger, is about 10 years older than me, while the actress, Jorja Fox, is about my age.
Watching those old episodes now (from 2000), I kind of think that Sarah Sidle is a little "too young" while I find "Catherine Willows" to be...well...really, really hot!
What changed? Me. In 2000, Marg Helgenberger was about 42, and Jorja Fox was about 32. In 2000, I was 34. Now, I'm 48...

Bottom line: I like curvey. I like women my age the best.

What does a 21 year age gap have to do with anything. I understand religion being a problem, but age means nothing, we used to hook up with a couple who were both over thirty years older than us and had great times.

Thanks for this very thoughtful and insightful reply. I think it parallels my feelings about men. When I was younger, I remember thinking I could not imagine being attracted to a man who was over the age of about 50. Now... I find it hard, honestly, to be attracted to a man of 25.

As far as men go, height and weight are not hugely important to me within a pretty wide range. Although I think it's easier for me to be comfortable sexually with a man who may not have a perfect body and may be more accepting and appreciative of my imperfections.

I love all kinds of women. I have enjoyed women of all ages, races, sizes, etc. But my preference is curvy women.

I am not someone who believes in moderation. I indulge myself in the most decadent pleasures that this world has to offer. I prefer thick, juicy steaks; full-bodied cabernets; aged, single malt scotch; hand rolled, maximum strength, maduro cigars; and rich, sinful desserts. But more than anything I enjoy lush, curvy women with thick thighs, soft bellies, heavy breasts, wide hips, round buttocks, an abundance of flesh, and a personality to match.

 You're welcome. Thanks for the interesting question.

I think mature men are more likely to be very accepting. We know that no one is perfect, including and particularly ourselves. Plus we value the whole person, not just the body.

I still like a sexy curvey woman. ;) :D

I am a BiBBW and 46 ... My husband and I prefer women like me

Yes we most definitely do. I would pass up Taylor Swift for a woman in her 50's about 5'3" 265lbs any day. Most of us men just think that they are just more attractive sexually both to feel and look at.

Thanks for this. Girls like us need to hear this more often. :)

Hubby and I both prefer. Mature BBW's

Lover of mature women, curvy is great, but have enjoyed non curvy as well. Passion is the key for me. Found most "girls" more concerned for their own pleasure and most mature women are into mutual pleasure.... Hope you are finding fun.

I Love Them

All I can say is I LOVE THEM, but It's a funny thing . When I was younger I NEVER thought of an older or big woman as a turn on , just never thought of them sexual. But as I got older myself it became more of a real turn on . Now I get more turned on with an older plump woman then a younger one . But I do like my women with some meat on them, NOT huge , but a nice plump butt and nice 36 C cup tits I love.

I think women just have no idea when they feel inadequate because they don't measure up to the models portrayed in magazines, etc. They are trying to compare themselves to something totally unrealistic. If they would look at the tons of pages here such as the Curvey Appreciation or Mature picture threads they would get a more realistic view of real men's likes. The fact is the world would be a very boring place if all women were white, blonde hair, blue eyes, and 36-26-36. We like seeing just about everyone naked.
