I'm male 37.
I'm not talking sex here, I'm talking to the huggers. I've always been very standoffish when it comes to hugging people. I'd like to change that. I've noticed that girls will have guy friends they hug all the time and others they won't. I guess I've always had a weird hang up where I wanted to be sure to respect women but it resulted in me going overboard and not engaging in any physical contact at all with girls unless we're dating. I have no problem with intimacy in a relationship, it's just the friendly hugs is kind of a gray area that I have never ventured into.
So here's my question: Ladies, when it comes to the guy friends you hug, what about him or the relationship fosters that kind of contact? What might a guy do that could encourage that kind of interaction?
