Why Do You Women Paint Your Nails?

I'm having this discussion with a female friend of mine.

Is it a self-confidence thing, a power thing, a sexual thing? All of the above?

And, my theory, which she debunks, is...when a woman primps herself, including nails, it usually indicates that she has completed the self-hygiene task of trimming or shaving her pussy as well.

Any truth to my suspicions, or am I way off base (as usual...)?

I paint my nails because it looks pretty. More people see your hands than your pussy. My personal opinion though. Well manicured hands and feet look good and are more feminine.
