I grabbed the hot handle of a pan. 1st and 2nd degree burns and I cried like a baby. The ER gave me some percocets to help with the pain and I have liniment to heal my hand.

It feels better this morning. Several of my blisters have popped so I just washed, put on medicine and wrapped my fingers.

The pain, that's the worse. After I was on fire (yep, you read that correctly: literally on fire) I realized I could differentiate between being hurt and flat-out, please amputate my hand, pain. I can now deal with the hurts a lot better than pain.

When cooking, always keep a can of Solarcaine in the medicine cabinet. That shit does wonders for when you burn yourself cooking.

And yes, been there, done that, have a can.
