smiling... moved it a lot today. A Qigong friend is visiting and we're doing a lot of movement.
I woke up wobbly after not much sleep, but as soon as I got to the river at first light, I was immediately calm. Perfect cool morning. I saw a solo deer... most sightings are groups of 3 or 4. This was a youngster, absolutely bouncing in Tigger exuberance... the epitome of joy. Felt like a wonderful omen.

all my experts have now conferred and reached a consensus: I do not need radiation!!!!
Those tennis ball sized "lumps" provided the widest clean margins my radiation oncologist had ever seen. The path reports showed no malignancies larger than 1.4 cm as opposed to the 3.5 cm indicated by MRI. So while more tissue was removed than strictly necessary, I am left with no cancer and no need for radiation.
So now it is up to me and my body to heal my incisions, adjust to my new reality, and come to love my new breasts. Thanks so much for all the energy, mojo, thoughts, and prayers. I'd be grateful for your continued support for the healing ahead -- I think I have more to overcome emotionally than physically.
