Hmmmm...can I ask you what exactly you found not done well?
I mean, I saw the flaws in it as a narrative in a basic sense — it's sprawling and clustered — it has to be for it to work right — but I really can't see it being less than the first one. And I also see it as being a culmination of the direction of all the properties. That's the thing I really like. On top of giving us what we expected if not exactly wanted, I feel the flick as a whole works a lot more than it doesn't work, is what I'm saying.
Your comic book geekness is well understood on my end, trust me!![]()
His own leaving gift to himself. Heartwarming as all hell.![]()
The emotion was all wrong. It was Joss Whedon emotion. It wasn't right. I adore the guy but it's like there were too many forces with opinions on the movie and it turned out that the emotion they wanted me to feel was not what I felt. I was frustrated at their displays, I was annoyed by Banner, I really disliked Stark and he should have charisma. It was just off.
Has anyone you know seen Maggie yet? I'm intensely curious.
The Age of Adaline reminds me too much of a Nicholas Sparks movie and I'm pretty much not a fan of his books/movies.
And last but not least Woman in Gold, because Helen Mirren
The Nodding Blurt.
I'm going to chalk it up to the characters evolving. I freaking loved the movie for it's entertainment value. There was a little bit of everything in it for me.
Glad someone laughed at it.
The rest of you are a bunch of non-humor having assholes.
Zumi, I have watched them all, I've read all the comics, I watch Agents, I watched Agent Carter, I'm up to speed. I didn't dislike the film because I didn't know who anyone was, I disliked it because it wasn't done as well as I wanted it to be.
CANNOT stand Nicholas Sparks anything. It was better than that but mostly because I can't stop staring at Blake Lively and her beautiful fashion sense in the movie, not necessarily that the story was any better.
Summer movies tend to be more on the fluff side, action adventures. Love them! Serious movies tend to be more towards fall and winter months. With that being said, I'd love to see Woman in Gold. What a timeless, beautiful woman she is. Loved her in that 100ft Journey foodie movie. I'm sure this story will come off better than that goofball Monuments Men with a similar storyline.

I hated The Notebook, like physical revulsion.
I enjoyed it. I didn't love it quite as much as the first Avengers. The introduction of Vision was kick fucking ass, though.
I will say I think that Wheedon may not have given wire as much of a Fuck about this one once he realized he wasn't going to be part of the Infinity War.
Oh, thank God. My people!
It scared me.
