I have written a story where the husband discovers his wife has been cheating. He has all the prove she has cheated twice, once with a neighbor and once with a black man. He has laid down the law to his wife. Part of the law involves BDSM or what is referred to as discipline training. What category would you suggest this story should be placed in?

I would suggest Loving Wives. The readership of LW likes a husband to severely punish a cheating wife.

Depending on the development of the story, I could see it going in Non-Con, Loving Wives, BDSM or even Erotic Horror, depending on how the material is handled. It comes down to determining the overall focus of the story.

Q: Is the focus on the wife's humiliation?
A: Loving Wives

Q: Is the focus on making the wife do something against her will?
A: Non-Con

Q: Is the focus on the details of bondage and discipline, Dominant/submissive?
A: BDSM

Q: Is the focus on completely terrifying the wife, teaching her "a lesson," and ultimately resulting in a not-so-happy ending?
A: Erotic Horror

If its a cheated husband punishing the wife then LW is best for no matter what aspect you use because the slugs over there get hard over the abuse and humiliation and torture of women

If you put it in BDSM and its a wife being punished you may not get as good of a response, because BDSM is not 'revenge porn'

Even non consent might not be crazy over it either, because if its his wife then there is some inherent consent, unless he is forcing her to be with others.

But anytime a woman is 'getting it' because she cheated post it in misogyny heaven and you will be rewarded because it makes them feel like "real men"

OMG! A black man???

It really sets the LW crowd off, they are as racist as they are sexist, they are also homophobic judging by the amount of times they call the authors and characters 'faggots' in their comments.

They really do exemplify the worst the net has to offer.

Another thing you should keep in mind is the number of readers.

Loving Wives has tons of readers. BDSM does not.

All you have to do is glance at the story hubris for LWs to see that there are plenty of votes, favs, and comments.

If you glance at the BDSM hubris, it's usually pretty quiet.

Yeah, if you get a one hundred fifty votes there its considered pretty good.
