I visited my oncologist last Tue, and the results of my latest biopsy show that I have no active cells :)
This is a provisional all-clear - I won't be declared clear of cancer for another few months yet.

But still, great news!

The only ongoing side effect I have is this large bald spot on the top of my head. It will be up to 12 months before I know if the hair follicles will recover from the brachytherapy, so I will be bald till then (I do not have enough hair to be able to cover it, even if I grow the rest out. It's a large spot!) But I have got used to not having hair, and it saves a shitload of money on shampoo, product,, and haircuts!

Congratulations! That's fantastic news. Are you going to do anything to celebrate with money you saved on hair products?

That reminds me; I need to get to the tanning salon. Maybe a massage and a pedicure after.

I'll throw the extra $ into getting a new laptop.

I have decided I kinda like the uber-pale look! No more spending on tans, etc.

Congrats. Pick a cute summer hat!

It is coming to winter here. Yeterday it snowed down to 400m.
My head got so cold I had to double-beanie!

Oh, then perfect time! For real though, congrats. And buy a better beanie!

I looked for a decent thermal beanie, but none of them are feminine in the slightest!
All grey and black and horrid :(
I want yellow and orange and green! Or patterned. Or something other than strong, manly colours.

That is great news!! Wishing all the continued best!

I'm having moles carved out of me and tested. Waiting on info for the two I had taken off recently. Probably have a few others to have carved out too.

Good luck with the biopsy results.

Head Scarves!

And I still think you should consider my past suggestion... get a tattoo on your head!!

Congratulations WQ on your good news.

For feminine beanies you may want to contact a local knitting shop and see of they have any knitting groups then contact the member and see what ideas they may have and their willingness to custom knit a beanie for you to your specifications.

Good Luck and again congratulations on your test results.
