The religious fanatic is hell bent on forcing their religion upon others by any means necessary, those intolerant of religion just want to be left alone. This is often confused by the former group as an attack or oppression as they consider their religion above US law, above reproach and absolutely entitled to legislate it's way into every Americans life.

I used to go to Relay For Life events, as several relatives were cancer survivors. I stopped after I myself was diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic.

One parent survived a heart attack & stroke on the same day (as each other, not as my diagnosis). Driving me home from watching an NCAA Tournament game together, he told me I should start going back to church b/c both of us had to be thankful & that we were both still here for a reason.

I could barely keep from laughing. I've never believed my Diab.-diagnosis, but regardless, any God who is the reason we both survived also created our diseases/problems, & is also the reason each of us got them.
