What happened is that my hard drive began to die (I suspect a sneak attack by fascist pigs.) I had the hard drive replaced. However, in the process, the repair guy forgot to reinstall my DVD read/write unit. None of my music would play. And I got the following message when I tried:
The license cannot be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.
To download a license, you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later.
To install the latest version of Internet Explorer, see the Windows Update page.
I have Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11. I got the repair guy to reinstall my DVD drive. When I attempted to check, the system shows no DVD drive. However, I can upload files and play music from my DVD drive. When I try to play previously playable music from my hard disc, same error message as above.
HELP!
