Home Invader Killed By Armed Homeowner In Tennessee

Good on the Homeowner. One thing bothers me about the article.. "Deputies say the he fired one round from a gun, from the bedroom to the living room." Doesn't make it clear what type of shot was fired. I mean, Did he have the guy in his sights and took the shot? Or, did he fire blind from the bedroom more to scare the guy off?
I'm hoping it was the former as the latter is much more reckless.

Somebody losing their life is a happy ending? Fuck is wrong with you people?

The way the story reads, the person was a career criminal with a history of home invasion As opposed to breaking and entering. This implies that he preferred to break into occupied homes.. He rolled the die and came up short. It's good news that it was the criminal that died and not the homeowner or a member of his family.

A happy ending would have been the career criminal turning his life around. He finally chose the wrong house to break into and paid the ultimate price.

Personally, if someone breaks into my home I'm going to assume that they mean to do harm to me or my family and will be met with deadly force. I'll either take them out, or die protecting my family.

I don't know I'd call it a happy ending, but I don't feel sad about it. The criminal paid the ultimate price for his deliberate wrongdoing. I see nothing unfair about it.

In Oregon you have the right to protect yourself with deadly force if the person is in your home...with the intent to harm...my front door was taken as evidence to show the blood was on the inside of the bullet hole...when a man broken through a dead bolted door...verbally saying I'm going to kill you... no charges were filed...but , it was interesting that one of the investigating police officers remarked...off the cuff of course...if this would have occurred, say outside your home in your yard...you better make sure you drag the body in your house...

It's good news for the killer's therapist. He'll be neurotic for years.

You refer to a homeowner protecting his family, possisions and possibly his own life from someone who chronically robs homes while innocent people are at home a "killer?"

You are the one that needs a therapist

When you shoot someone dead, you've killed them.

No amount of rationalization on your part changes that underlying fact.

You beat him to death with your tits, right?

Yes and you and your buddy get pleasure in using words (and statistics) out of context to serve you leftist agenda.

By all means then, cont, share with us what words (and statistics) you feel I've used "out of context" in this thread.

Unless your post is simply a continuation of your usual butthurt, of course.

It doesn't matter what you or I call him. He will always think of himself as a killer.

Yes con....using the term killer to describe someone who killed another person is TOTALLY out of context and OBVIOUSLY a leftist agenda!!

How fucking retarded are you?

I admire you, smoot...

...as one who used to supplement their pill pimping by selectively strong-arm jacking people, your empathy for home invaders is, well, touching.

OK, here is the most recent from the other day:

Hannity is placin' the blame squarely on the shoulders of the governor's Democratic predecessor.

...and he might have a point. O'Malley was a big fan of "arrest all of #ThosePeople"

Break into my house and you'd be chewing slugs.

There's no room for home invaders in society, regardless of their circumstances.

No lack of context there at all, chumly.

And because you couldn't find any "context" to whine about in this thread, I've got to assume that you're just dribbling out your patented deflection.

Oh be not of heavy hearts....rejoice.....rejoice. For a mere 50 cents a serial felon has been removed from society without the taxpayer having to pay for room and board..........rejoice I say.

Just one article about self defence in Canada

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/self-defence-what-s-acceptable-under-canadian-law-1.1229180

Under Section 40 of the Criminal Code, which deals with the defence of dwellings, Nichols says, "everyone who is in possession of a dwelling house is justified in using as much force as necessary, to prevent any person from forcibly breaking into or entering the dwelling house without lawful authority."

The sticky part is in bold.

Better have a throw away pistol stashed somewhere you can plant on the body. Not to mention really together after the shooting so you can pop off a couple rounds into some drywall with their dead hand gripping the gun.

LOL what in the fuck are you talking about loony reich winger?

I don't have any brothers....

However if one killed a baby, yes....I would call them a baby killer.

And no...there would be no leftist commie conspiracy theory behind it despite your crazy claims that proper terminology = commie agenda!!

LOL...TAKE YOUR MEDS!!:D

No planting of evidence needed. If they force their way into my house and are a physical threat, they will get shot. I would gladly spend a few years in jail to protect my family.
