I have heard that song, but I couldn't hum it, trying to remember what I was doing in 1988.

I didn't have weekends, I didn't get paid, I was just scrambling.

None of us went bankrupt, but many of us did shut down after paying off creditors.
I have enough useless stock to paper my bathroom and then some.

I have had very few jobs like that in my life so far. I am a bit older than you and was in tech, things were flying fast.
I used to escape to Scotland for a couple weeks a year because no one could easily reach me there. It would be even worse now with cell phones.

Nothing much. Been around a whole bunch of kids all day. They ran me into the ground. I'm so tired. My kids enjoy being around my little cousins so much that I decided to let them all spend the night. Which was a mistake. It's about 7 kids here, including my 3. Good thing they're all sleep except two of mines. But there are laying down watching cartoons, so they're good. I spoke to my lawyer today, he let me know what I can expect back and how he is thinking the person I'm suing is going to settle, so I'll get the money sooner. I'm kinda nervous though, because I owe so many people that I think I won't even see the money. Credit cards, bails bondsmen and a couple of another bills. I'm not sure if they can garnish it or not. Hopefully they can't. But that's about it from my day. But I know the first thing imma do when I wake up, and that's taking these kids back to their parents.
