You know when you click on a specific porn video you'd like to watch, and instead of going to the video, it takes you to a different porn site? And if you Go Back, click on the very same video, it takes you to yet another porn site?
Why is that and what am I doing wrong?

Lol it's just a tricky thing seedier sites do in order to increase their ad revenue, due to clickthroughs, I always assumed.

Happens way less with more legit websites.

I haven't had any such problems with xvideos.com.

Big library of stuff there, so it might be what you're looking for.

It might also help if you download AdBlock. It wont stop all of the flake click-throughs, but it'll take care of most pop-ups.

Hope that helps.

Some "porn" sites are actually search engines, collecting people who are searching for keywords, and then sending them off to pay sites when they click on a "video". Lots of them are frustrating, make it impossible to "go back" or close the tab without completely closing your browser, and are probably serving up malware as well.

You're not doing anything wrong.

Be careful where you click.

I always watch Red tube

http://www.redtube.com/categories

when you first go to their home and pick a category a site will pop up on another broswer "live jasmine" a web cam site" if you close it, it ever comes back.

If you look at the top of the page it has links to a lot of affiliate sites as well.

I have problems with that Jasmin live cam site.It insinuates itself onto my page, sneakily hiding under whatever I am watching. How do I rid myself of this uninvited guest? Advice please.

Redirecting to another site

I normally right click the mousie thing is and open a new browsing tab or window works most of the time

You are seriously putting your computer at risk for malware with those sites. Stick to the more trustworthy websites and don't let your clicking wander. I believe Youtubers refer to misleading (and controversial) titles as "Click Bait." That basically what those websites are doing.

Also, as another person pointed out, Adblock is amazing. It's a controversial topic due to websites that survive off of ad revenue. But it's definitely one of the best anti-malware programs out there. And it's free.

How to avoid it:

a) Most sites have some keywords and subtle framing, like "Promoted Videos", "Our Friends", which indicates that it's just advertisement and will do anything, if you click on it.

b) Your browser should show you the URL in the lower left corner when you hover over the video. There are two things to watch for:
If you are on myperfectgreatestpornsite.com and the URL points to:

- anotherpornsite.com, it means it's advertisement, not a video.
- something with a question mark, like "myperfectgreatestpornsite.com/out.php?somethingelse", it's advertisement, not a video.

c) Pay for porn.

Thanks for the advice and feedback...officially a supporter of Adblock Plus now too.
Because nothing gets between me and my porn.

Some sites have started complaining that I have ad block enabled. They ask me to turn it off for their site. More recently, some sites see adblock and won't play the video at all.

I get it that they run on advertising, but those pop unders get annoying. I tried to block them in my router and THAT didn't even work.
