Good afternoon Texas.

Proud Texans, I'm assuming after Jordan Spieth's victory in The Masters.

Watching a programme on The British fleet in WWI.

l never knew that the only remaining Dreadnaught battleship is an American version of the British design and called USS Texas.

Have a lovely warm Texan day

Good morning Texas!

Was reading a list of the safest cities in Texas this morning, not sure if it's a good thing or a bad that I am almost totally surrounded by the safe cities but mine isn't on the list

Good morning SB3 and everyone else. :)

We lived in Austin for many years. Then my wife and I decided to get some land, have some space, and build our dream home. So we moved out to Bastrop county and love it our here in the peace and quiet.

I read that Austin has been the Fastest growing city in the United States for EACH of the past five years! Crazy incredible! So glad we moved away. Still close enough to visit, but not living daily life in that rat race. :)

The Texas was also the first US battleship to launch a plane from a turret catapult and the first US Navy ship to show a talking picture on board.

Good morning, Texans

Good morning Texans!
I have just one word for you today...
Freaking MOSQUITOES!!
Really? Already with the mosquitos?
I walk outside and they are on me in under 30 seconds.
Grrrrrrrrr!!

Not only outside, I found one inside our home last night!

LOL Years ago I had a cat who killed a bird, brought it inside and dropped it at my feet, as if giving me a gift. Fortunately he never did it again.

I was quite horrified the evening my kitty did the same thing, except she had an enormous cockroach, and the damned thing was not dead. And when she dropped it, a hilarious chase ensued in which there was a lot of cussing done. I'm completely traumatized by those hideous things... When I see one, I lose my mind now
