The rewards of writing.

Why did I chose erotica rather than something else? It is the one subject that allowed me to put my libido to use in any category I wished. Sci-Fi, fantasy, mystery, romance...erotica can appear anywhere. It also allows me to express my secret fetishes that I've never been able to explore anywhere but in my own imagination.

I have been paid to write for years (not erotica). Most of what I have written has been dull, boring work--not fun at all.

I had never even considered attempting erotica until I happened across a short story by Edward Naughty (Chicken and Waffles). I loved it. I talked my husband into reading it and was, shall we say, pleased with his reaction.

After that night, I decided I would write my own erotic short story. In it, I definitely explored some secret fetishes I would never explore anywhere but in my own imagination. I had my characters act out things I do not know I could even discuss out loud, much less do. It was a lot of fun.

My husband, whose literary counterpart was the star of the story, seemed to really enjoy it (although I think he was a little shocked to learn just what a dirty mind I have at times).

Like PTWaters, I just really enjoy putting my libido to good use. It's a creative release I don't get elsewhere.

Long answer short--I write erotica for the fun of it.

Yikes...someone saw through my "Virgin Forum Perception Filter" and actually noticed something I posted! Rats...I may never to be able to make comments in threads and go unnoticed again. ;)

In all seriousness though, its nice to know I'm not alone :)

Sorry to blow your cover ;)

Time to go creatively release my libido.
