It would work much like the PM's question time before Parliament.

Laurel would create a new sticky that would contain lists of categories with each category containing a list of statements/responses. Categories might be, Curmudgeon's, Middle Ager's That Think They're Young, PMS, I'm Drunk/You're Drunk, What's Your ASL?, etc.

Each category and listed statement/response would be numbered. So the way it works is like so;

If the Curmudgeon category was #15 and the MATTTY category was # 6 and under those categories we have statements/responses such as;

Cat. 6 S/R #12, "You're just an old curmudgeon."

we could see as a response, Cat 15, S/R 3, "You'll be getting old too."

Which would bring the response, Cat 6, S/R 9, "I'm not going to live to be that old."

Which might be responded to thusly, Cat. 15, S/R 22, "Is there anything we can do to hasten that day?"

So the entire post chain would look like;

6-12

15-3

6-9

15-22

You could PM Laurel with new category and statement/response suggestions so the lists would be dynamic and no one would have to think too much and the savings in energy and bandwidth would be enormous.

And of course Laurel could adopt a new motto, "Literotica, saving the planet one packet at a time."

we will need a s/r in bold red of differing sizes else, Rob won't be able to post much.

everything that can be said has already been said. give each post a number and then just post the # of the corresponding post.
instead of typing all that, i could just post:

#345

and everyone would understand.

and

#37.

Jesus, what a waste of packets.

Jesus, what a waste of packets.

That falls under category 2, "I really have nothing to say."

Statement/response # 47.

So you just could have typed, 2-47.

Ishmael

PS. There is a similar statement/response over in the Religion category (#73) you could have used as well.

Is there an obtuse category? Or, is that just assumed given the author?
