The inevitable - Man this place has really lost it's buzz thread..

Comon man how bout some drama mama?

Somebody screwin somebody over here. I know it.

I KNOW it.

I kinda like that smooth guy. In my opinion, idk where the GB would be without him. He makes this place.

At least you've hung around. Most n00bs get run off before they get their AVs.

I don't scratch my head unless it itches and I don't dance unless I hear some music. I will not be intimidated. That's just the way it is.

We are trying very hard to liven this place up, but watching 24 for the 3rd time is pulling at us hard.

Where are the laughs? Where are the dancing girls? Submarines?

Moo and Mr. Bear. :cattail:

"These don't look like Presbyterians to me!" -Fozzie Bear. "Wakka WAKKA!"

If not for the porn threads, I would only have 16 threads on the front page.

Two of the threads I responded to were only because I was cyberstalking some posters or I wouldn't even know the threads existed.

I've read a couple other threads that were good for a couple of giggles, but not good for posting in 'ere I disrupt the flow.

"Flow?"

Doesn't that imply there are actual posters posting?

Me posting as 12 people does not count.

Consider getting an outdoor bug-zapper and setting it up inside.

I don't think a zapper will work, these kinds of moths avoid light. I will get some pyrethrins and set up a spraying space in the garage and then hang the rugs on the clothes line afterwards unless we get rain or something, or over the front stoop to get sun.

My yardage is going to be a pain. Some should be treated but not all. Also, my thread collection, which is all in the same area. I got distracted in June when I usually check everything and put away, and then Byron died and routines totally fell apart. if I can save my favorite rug I will be happy, although everything would be better.

I thought all moths were attracted to light. I wonder if more light then, would encourage them to some dark corner where you can kill them. Pest strips?

I had these Mexican Bird of Paradise plants in my front yard. One day when they were blooming nicely there were swarms of hummingbirds feeding on the flowers. I took pictures of the happy little critters.

Someone pointed out to me they are "Hummingbird Moths." Weird that I got that yuck feeling, when the same creatures delighted me earlier. Those moths are not exclusively nocturnal.

When I made some comment about tracking down and killing moths in the house some tender-hearted person here said they don't eat textiles. I guess some varieties don't but don't the larvae?

The are pantry moths, outside moths who are like butterflies, carpet beetles, silverfish and carpet moths, only outside ones like light.
