I think so seeing it was a lesbian story and also mentioned how tired they are of men writing lesbian stories.

Goes to show what they really know or anyone else here does when they are gender guessing.

It gets pretty dead in here about this time most days--and in another fifteen minutes or so, the whole Web site will go down to start posting the stories for the day. (I don't know why that's been happening in the last couple of months, but it has been.)

Yep, it just happened again. I've found that immediately after that, my posting stories show on my submissions list (but nowhere else for a while).

Like listing auctions on e-bay or watching Supernaturals on Netflix....

My wife and I have settled into a "weeknight routine" where its been made clear if I am not in bed by eleven I'm not getting any.

But that doesn't mean I have to stay in bed...

I think LC is East Coast US based on his weather comments. They are at GMT -4 now. Daylight savings time just started. A couple weeks ago, they were GMT-5.

My two entries, and Jeanne's one, aren't attracting as much attention as my contest stories usually do.

Is it me? Or doesn't April Fool's Day attract as many readers?

I have three in three different categories.

The incest entry has the votes views associated with the mother/son genre, but the score is well below my average-maybe because of the twist which was a pretty nasty prank on the son

But my lesbian and mature entry are far below the numbers of my other stories in those categories especially the score...so either people's knee jerk reactions to twists is to vote low, or trolling is an all time high.

But...trolls can't steal vote and view stats so....maybe there is just not much interest in this

If that's true it goes to prove how badly the readership responds to anything new.

My impression (I'm not a great record-keeper) is that views on my one story are tracking ahead of views for my other story in the same category, and way ahead of my V-day story (BDSM). Trolling has been much more fierce than what my V-day entry got, so I have no clue what the final score will look like.

Overall my views & votes are fairly solid.

But as mentioned, I'm surprised by the across-the-board low scores. I had a story post last night and I saw that it had been hit by 1's.

My prediction, FWIW, is that the scores will look fairly normal after the final sweeps. Just tracking my own score, it seems pretty clear that either someone is in a really foul mood or one or more people are playing a lot dirtier than in the V-day contest.

Someone needs to get a grip.

Scoring sure...but it seems on two of mine the vote and view totals are down and those can't be stolen by trolls. Seems there is less reader interest in this one

My rating is low and I won't get enough votes to qualify. But I'll be interested in seeing where the rating goes when the sweeps are done. I didn't anticipate a better response at Lit., as it's a menage story, and Lit. isn't set up to serve readers of menage.

I posted a story in N/N a couple of years ago. It received a total of 9 votes, not much readership for anything there it seems.
