I did not find any thread where you could just ask a question concerning the forum. If there is one, just delete this one.

The reason I'm posting this is that I have a questions myself, and I didn't know where to ask. I want to post a Story and get some feedback on the writing, before I submit it to Literotica (because I have no idea if it's utter bullshit) to spare the hard working "approvers" some time.
So, no place where I could just post the extract (longer than 100 words) and get some feedback on it?

Scroll up a bit and find the Author's Hangout forums. There should be threads there that can help or you can start one like the one you started here.

Isn't the Author's hangout for socializing? I don't see any thread that has anything to do with submissions there.

Yeah, but it's probably the best place to start.
It's a good place to start, along with Story Feedback and Story Discussion. However, the OP has a problem. They asked:

Here's how LIT works. You can post an extract of up to four paragraphs in Story Feedback. Otherwise, all discussion is about POSTED stories. Ya post yer tale and ya take yer chances. And there's only one "hard working approver" here, Laurel the owner, reading 100-200 submissions daily.

I cheated a couple times. I wrote stories, saved them in the cloud (I use DropBox), posted links, and asked for feedback. I received some useful comments. But that really does violate LIT procedures. You *could* ask for an editor in Editor's Forum, or beta readers there or in Author's Hangout. Your beta or editor communications would be via PM, not forum posts. That's how we do it here.

Yeah, what the OP was asking for really doesn’t happen here. I figured someone on the AH might be willing to help out by reading it. Going to the Editors forum probably is the better place for such a thing.

This is the place....just post it here.

Welcome!

Can I ask for beta readers in the Editor's section? Well, I guess I can, sorry for the stupid question. ^^

Stop by the AH {Authors' Hangout}. It really is where you want to be to get those questions answered.

I have a question that has nothing to do with the forums:

At the end of the movie, "The Never Ending Story" Bastian gives the princess a new name by screaming it out the window during a thunderstorm. I've rewound that over a dozen times on my dvr & I still can't make out what name the little bastard shouts out.

Does anyone know the name he screams out?
(It's kinda bugging me.)

How does one become immortalized in a sticky?

Moon child.

How does Laurel's brain keep from turning to mush?

What? Is that even possible? Surely not.

I'm sure Laurel depends on strong stimulants (all legal, of course) and other brain enhancers. I envisage her lying naked in a pool of warm jelly with electrodes attached to her head. The texts stream through; her multi-faceted mind strokes and snips and shoves the submissions into either the APPROVED or REJECTED drains. Then, another dose of thick Thai oliang coffee infused with gingko biloba for mental clarity, and on to the next submission stream. It's an endless process. All hail Laurel!

Assuming you're right, I don't know if I should feel guilty, grateful, or simply in awe.
