Apologies if this sounds like a noob question, but I need some advice on having casual sex with a co-worker.

So a little bit of back story. I have been working in my career the last 10 years but have never really had a chance to travel all that much for work. Recently, I got a promotion and this year have been beginning to have talks about work trips for this new position. I should also mention that I'm a shy in general around women, especially ones I like. That said:

I was in the hallway of our office talking with a female co-worker about a trip we will be taking together in in May. She and I are both single with no significant others of any capacity, and I would fuck her if given the chance. She is the event coordinator and is in charge of setting up events for the company and my work will be on display at this event. We've only met twice IRL so there's no established friendship outside of work. As we're finishing up the conversation, she says that I won't need to be working the event the entire time, and "Of course we'll have time for some fun." and gives me a wink.

Is she signaling to me that she wants to fuck while we out of town, and whether or not that's the case, how should I go about getting in bed with her while were out of town?

Nope, but I figure the move would be to back to one of our hotel rooms after we inevitably go out to the bar with the group.

The wink tells me that you should make sure you sit next to her on the plane/train/whatnot with a big blanket at the ready.

Good luck!

Just don't.

Workplace romances rarely end well, especially for the guy.

Normally, I'd agree, but we literally don't interact with each other outside of these events, and we don't have similar circles of friends, so if there's ever an opportunity to fuck a co-worker, this is probably the best chance.

It was free advice, so you got your money's worth. Ignore it at your own peril.

And if she's going to fuck you, all you need to do is not be oblivious. She WILL let you know.

A wink means having drinks, not sex. Just in case, go out and buy a strap on, so you'll be ready.

In the likely event that you decide that our recent promotion and your career are not worth it to you, proceed with paranoid caution. Make sure she initiates, make sure she actively verbalizes and make sure she is dead sober whilst doing so.

Giving advice is always a waste of time, isn't it?

I do it anyway in hopes that someone reading who hasn't already made up their mind about a similar situation can benefit.

Well shit, all these years of traveling with the boss and now I learn his meaning about having time to have fun.

Who knew it meant sex and not having fun?

I think this is the new JohnathonParker who worked at the fast food joint and pined for Amy.

Well, excuse me for breathing then. I will take your advice to proceed with paranoid caution.

LJ has a boy's rights club hangout around here somewhere...

...perhaps you could go there to find a clue?

Is it because your recent promotion and career are NOT worth it to you? Or do you just not know how to read?

Think with your head, not your dick, maybe?

.
This.

It amuses me greatly that people give serious advice to these sorts of questions.

And especially so on the GeeBee.
