Yeah, the movie is what made me want to read the book. I enjoyed it, but I can see how people who read the book first may not.

Removing the communication piece between Thomas and Theresa was shocking.

I enjoyed the movie, but my daughter loathed it. This was her first book series obsession turned film that disappointed her. Listening to her rant after was awesome; she's my mini, for sure.

That was a huge part of the plot to leave out! It completely changes the dynamic of their relationship and, I'm assuming, even more so as the story progresses. I think they're releasing a second movie later this year. I'm still glad I saw it, as it drew me to the books and as I get older it's a little easier for me to enjoy a movie as a separate entity from an original story. Except the Hobbit, because, what the actual fuck was Peter Jackson thinking?!

I'm in the queue for the second book. For some reason the library only has a couple copies.

Well, you see the personal side and you missed my years of slutting it up. I used to go through men and women like they were tissues and I had a cold. In fact I met The Ginger through FetLife and even though he remembered me as being my sister's sister we never spoke when he was in school with her or in the years after their group hung out. It's amazing how life works.

KS' words don't actually bother me because I have a whole lot of faith that this is the right decision, the right man, the perfect time in our lives.

Anyway, I had two toddlers, I know what cries for attention look like when they manifest themselves in shitty behavior.
