I love to sunbatheI also love to wear skimpy or see thru swimwear made for men.

So my question in the appropriate settings adults only.
What would be your thoughts on seeing a straight guy wearing something like that?
is it fair that guys want the women to wear such clothing but balk at them showing a lil,
And guys if you would wear it or something sexier like to know!

Since I am a wearer of this type of swimwear/ underwear, for me I do not wear it for the approval of anyone. I have been on the beach and pools in a thong, that is just about see through when wet, have had positive and negative comments, and quite frankly who the hell cares. In the past I was frightened to wear such minimal swimwear, but I just enjoyed it. I am quite discreet in family oriented beaches and hotel pools. You just have to have the nerve to ask the hotel if it will be acceptable.

One hotel I recently stayed at, went to the desk and asked if it would be acceptable to sunbath in a thong at the pool, the women stated that there was no policy against it so feel free. I was there for an hour when some drunk asshole started taunting me, i decided it was time to leave. Saw them again on the beach the next day, and his wife smiled and winked at me, she wanted a picture with me. Which I did. He apologized to me right there on the beach.

Bottom line, everyone tries to seek approval. If it isn't against the law, who cares. Where the sexy swimwear for you, nobody else.

That first pic has potential, if it includes a full bottom. The holes are intriguing, but making it a thong would carry it over the line from teasing to too overt. The other three fit poorly, binding and leaving marks on the skin that look uncomfortable. I don't find poorly fitted clothing to be attractive in the slightest.

The sexiest swimwear I've ever seen on a man was a pair of full boyshort trunks (think Daniel Craig in those pale blue trunks). It instantly drew your eyes to his muscular thighs and trim waist.

I have to agree with Mischka. I can even recall the pic of Daniel Craig she is talking about. So hot!! I really can't stand anything less than trunks on a man. Thongs and speedos are a huge turn off for me.

It would very much depend on the body of the wearer. Im not a fan of any of those styles at all. Yikes. I like a guy in a pair of board shorts.

I only wear thongs to the beach because I like them, my tan lines and pushing my sexuality. My wife loves me but girls I dated tripped I had skimpier bathing suits and often underwear than them

My husband has ones similar to the second link, he looks very nice in them. I have no desire to see him (or anyone else) in a thong or speedos, but then again it's not my business to decide what others wear, so you do as you please.

Call me crazy, but seeing a guy in skimpy swimwear does nothing for me. I can't really explain why, but I'm a fan of board shorts, particularly from brands like Hurley, Volcom, and the like.

Yeah, that's generally the story in the U.S., but did you hear the story about the eastern European guy who wanted to get laid on the French coast? A French store-owner told him, "It's easy, just purchase this Speedo, put it on, and cruise up and down the beach."

So the guy did, but people just looked away when they saw him. He immediately went back to the store, wearing the Speedo, and explained the disappointing results. The store-owner looked at the Speedo, and said, "Oh, I know what the problem is! Take this potato and slip it into your Speedo, and then go out and cruise the beach."

So, the guy left the store with the potato, goes back to his hotel room, slips the potato into his Speedo, and returns to the beach. This time everyone who sees him laughs out loud and points at him. Humiliated, he returns to the store with potato in his Speedo.
