plus a look at the dancing lady from one of the snow shots [Alex wondered what the snow was sticking to] -- this was shot a couple of years ago from my library door. The deer was less than 15 feet from the house.

between author presentations, fabulous meals, and our games
I did still manage to do some reading

Bookworm!

I'm enjoying this trip back in time to last year's snow. I get the tingles without the shoveling. HA... I Never shovel! And I am so not a fan of slipperiness under foot.

Very nice Mara! Did you write your name in the snow?

I intended to ask what were you reading, but found the naughty pose such a beautiful distraction.

My family has farm land that is constantly being "invaded" by deer during the spring and summer. I could be outside in May reading, and have deer come withing 10 feet of me. Come November, they're hiding LOL

what reminded me of the pics I posted was another visit just yesterday... it seemed to be a really young animal, not browsing and eating, but just tearassing up to the house, making a run between houses and turning back, leaping off through the neighbor's yard. No time for a pic. Wild!

Looks hot but not more then my wife

I hope you give her lots of appreciation and attention...

Yum! I love this picture for some reason.

well, I'm so pleased to hear from you
and glad this picture speaks to you

Good for you... however I can think of some other possibilities on that chair!!

the chaise was comfortable, but the upholstery was ghastly in color and texture

I think I'd need a blindfold
