Sources needed for BDSM article

Hi guys,
We're doing a piece on the rise of soft core BDSM in this months issue of NOUVEAU magazine, and we're looking for sources from people who have interests in this.
As I'm sure you know, with 50 Shades Of Grey coming out this month it's expected that more people will be trying out different stuff etc. and we want to know how the BDSM community feel about this.
What we're looking for are quotes about whether you think it's presented well within the books or if you think it's too mild etc.
How about the characters themselves? Do you feel like Grey gives the community a bad name, with his overbearing attitude out of the bedroom?
Or, like some, do you feel that this book/film is nothing but mommy-porn and doesn't touch the sides of what it's really like?
Any opinions would really be appreciated, and we'll use pseudonym if you'd prefer.

Do you have any sample issues available that would help us get a feel for the way your magazine handles stories like this?

Unfortunately there are quite a few media outlets who approach people with a sympathetic-sounding "here's a chance to tell your side of the story!" thing as a way of suckering people in as fodder for a "look at these freaks!" story, so I'm reluctant to get involved without a chance to check out who I'm dealing with.
