Got it wrong as usual, Rob. There was no discussion. Funkensien posted a face av that was as horrendous as Warrior Queens. I stated my opinion that she had a lot of nerve calling WQ fugly, when in fact she is just as fugly. Then, in a snit Funk started posting selfies in which she did not remove the author signature from the pics. I pointed out to her her mistake and she volunteered that the embedded name was her actual name. I of course had no idea it was her real name, how would I? Funk was the one posting personal information, not me. Download a pic, right click and view the details tab. It's a rookie mistake for someone that likes to plaster their image all over the internet, don't you think? Then she whines about someone sending those pics to her employer. Give me a break.

And if you would like to post a link to where I have ever posted personal information, please provide it. Otherwise, you might want to retract that slander.

This site has moderators calling posters pedophiles, awards being given to posters for posting copyrighted underage material, trolls wishing death and disease on other posters.

It's a bit more complex than that, and I say that as a former vBulletin site administrator (not here, btw).

You can push a button and see ALL the posts from a given IP address.

This works out very well if you have a fixed IP address (typically, high speed internet from your cable TV provider, and certain high speed DSL lines). I suspect in this day and age that's about 80% of all Litsters.

This does not work when you have bottom-of-ithe-barrell dial-up connections, many of which tend to use a pool of hundreds of IP addresses. You could conceivably get a different IP address every time you access this site.

Unfortunately, those most likely to use this sort of service are lower income folks (like query, busybody and AJ) and fixed-income bitter clinger retirees with their AOL dialup accounts (Vetty, Amicus, JamesBJohnson, ad nauseam). Compounding this issue is the fact that most of the alts on the General Board tend to originate out of the two groups I just specified (low income/fixed income) and thus identifying alts is not always an easy task for admins.

I know it was warranted because I witnessed the public behavior which led to the ban. It's easy to forget that Lit is Laurel's party and we are invited guests.

I, too, was here last night...lurking. I saw(read) the same things Littlefinger did. i will add, my perception of the posts made by Funk to Ann was that she was spoiling for a fight.
