"Historic Storm"

Did Governor Cuomo let New Yorkers know when they could wipe their asses as well??? Just wonderin' since there's obviously nothing but children in the city and no adults around that know how to survive 30 inches of snow.:rolleyes:

Liberals are always looking for ways to declare a fucking emergency so they can tell people how to get through it.

This is a goddamn emergency and yes, people clearly need to be told how to get through it. Thank God for liberals.

Fucking ridiculous. "How can a storm that hasn't happened yet be "historic?" Good question.

You look on the fucking radar?

It's almost as if warm clothes, chains, and 4x4s don't exist, or that the Sheeple need government intervention in order to know what to do when it gets cold.

Those aren't going to help you in a white out and 30 inches of snow. That's the kind of shit that kills people.

ignorant fucktard .... you need to be sent to a "education" camp

Here in Florida, local governments publish a lot of hurricane-preparedness-and-evacuation guides, and make a lot of public announcements when one is actually coming. It never made me nor anyone I heard of feel like "sheeple."

Governor gavone is singing the same song

Not everyone can be a self-made, badass, military expert and all around bootstrappy survivalist like you, Vette.

Obviously Sean doesn't know what to do when it snows. He and Zumi are probably waiting breathlessly for "The it's okay to build a snowman" announcement.

Lots of people don't know what to do when it snows. I have no shame about admitting that I've got exactly zero idea what to do in a snowstorm. Never been anywhere near one. The closest I came was being in Chicago one year in mid december and seeing some flurries and a bit of heavy rain.

That however isn't the point. How many people die from this shit annually because people who DO live with this shit (I'm a southern Californian, I have two kinds of weather. Hot and less hot) get cocky. Same with people in New Orleans. How many lives would have been saved if GTFO by the government meant that in Katrina?

Yes, I know. The country was only looking for a "few good men" when I was hired on.

And due to your incompetence, they continued to keep looking.

You're really a very stupid person with this thread.. You've got fatassjerryinflorida agreeing with you, that cannot feel good.

They expect 2 to 3 feet and 60 mph winds in Long Island alone. Similar in Boston. They expect up to 60 million affected, hundreds of thousands without power. They've ordered everyone off the roads and that includes their vehicles. This is historic for the region.

Not everyone sits their ass on the computer all day, it's good to have leadership get involved and get things organized.

Thankfully dumbshits like you aren't running the show.

You remember the 93 blizzard "storm of the century"? Over 300 people died. It's generally not the cold states that have the issue, it's the ones that don't know what the hell to do.

I can remember the liberal paradise of North Carolina having to have supplies airlifted in because thousands lost power and were unprepared. The state had less than 20 inches.

People tend to think that a blizzard is a level snowfall. They forget the winds that come with it. I was in New Jersey at the time. We had 22 inches of snowfall. Remarkable, when you consider I couldn't look out the window due to the six foot snow drift pushed against it.

And that's the problem. You'll get sections of ground that are almost bare just a few feet away from a drift as tall as you are. Chains on your tires aren't going to do dick against that. For that matter, neither are 4x4s. I can remember how many of them were stuck in snow banks as well.

Considering I still have family out there, I'm glad people are taking it seriously. Fuck all of you for making light of it.

After 11 years of leading men who's identity wasn't synonymous with an empty jock strap. Like your is.

How good do you feel knowing that enthusiasm for your kind of economic solutions are at an 100 year low, you big stupid dummy?

Union Membership Rate Falls to 100-Year Low

Lol,... That's what someone like you, that's got nothing, would say. I call bullshit on you leading anything... You're far too stupid to have led troops. You can't even take care of yourself on a friggin message board.

It just shows how Spectacularly ignorant people are...people like you and fatassjerryinflorida have bought the anti-union line and stepped right up to the plate to take it in the ass like a good boy.. Emphasis on boy.

Its no surprise you don't see the correlation between the huge income disparity, the depressed wages, more people in poverty, the good paying jobs shipped overseas which our tax dollars helped with... And the decline of membership. Lots of powerful rich people loving your ignorance. Especially the other dumbasses across the south that are anti Union and have gotten fucked the most....

Let's just see if after all the hype in NYC, if this storm eclipses the one they lived through in 2006.

[shrug] Whether it does or it doesn't, what Cuomo is doing is worth doing. And, completely unobjectionable.

Really, this is the first time I've ever encountered any objection of any kind to disaster preparedness.
