Do they HAVE cotton in the South of your country? I learned to talk in the Deep South of the Untied States, very much in the Land of Cotton, and you, my less funny than you would like to be friend, are definitely not that kind of Southern.

People with a dialect do not give cues to dialect when they write since they cannot hear them. T them it is just standard pronunciation. In their dialect, for example, "ya'll" is still written "you" unless they are being deliberately ironic.

If anything, a southerner's written language is more formal than a northerner's.
