I laughed.

I have at times thought of starting a scatological observations thread but that seems obsessively introspective.

Like the sanitarium scene in the Kellogg, Michigan where they are examining stool samples. Was it Kinsey? I forget.

In addition to corn, I have noticed that the ease or difficulty of a bowel movement seems to have nothing to do with its actual size of apparent composition. Some times one thinks one has birthed an otter, and when you get up there are tadpoles. Other times it is like "Holy FUCK!" how the hell did something that size reside in me, much less find a viable exit?

Or how about the times you go, take a look and there is NOTHING in the bowl, it somehow surfed down and up and out all on its own, No flush required. Skee-ball poo.

Considering you think there are 4 stomachs, I think I will continue to base my understanding of digestion and the fermentation of starches in the rumen from my 11 years owning and operating a business in the beef cattle industry, as well as having been partnered with a Bovine Nutrition Specialist.

I was told that hospitals will never serve corn to patients. Anyone know whether that's true or not? Never been a hospital in patient, so I wouldn't know.

I think it's just because it's not healthy. It's sugary.

They used to keep hogs in two storey housing and only fed corn to the hogs on the top storey. The floor between the two storeys was slatted so the partially digested corn (hogshit) fell through. That had two advantages, firstly there was only one floor to clean and secondly the hogs on the ground floor needed next to no fresh feed.

I'm not sure but I think this method was only used when they wanted to grow heavy hogs for manufacturing processing (not bacon or pork).

The method might be illegal these days but it did actually get the corn digested more thoroughly.
