Healthy Eating/Fitness Goals? Check in here!

Lifting and rowing finished for the day.

I have 12,000m of the 18,000m goal. I expect to meet the distance goal for the rowing challenge by Wednesday, but I still have to total 13 gym visits.

Would you believe? Our Pilates teacher cancelled because of a bad cold :(
No really!! :D

My health goal for the year?

In the spirit of the holiday, I allowed myself to indulge in chocolate *anything* whenever the mood struck and without restraint. *embarassed expression* my workout routine was also interrupted by too many obligations.

My goal is to get back on track, get my chocolate addiction under control and make sure that I'm keeping a well balanced diet!

You're very welcome.

Plank challenge Day 1 complete. I am so out of shape. I'm ashamed to admit I was trembling inside the first 10 seconds.

Baby steps, though. Baby steps.

I remember the first time I did planks. 10 seconds was wayyyy too long for me. Kudos on you, Baila!!! :rose:

You're ahead of those folks who are sitting on the couch doing nothing, remember that. ;)

Loose 15lb off at while retaining 10 lb of muscle
Be able to to 50 Burpees in one rep by mid year

Thank you for the encouragement, Sophie! I really appreciate it! PC day 2 complete. Today, it took me 11 seconds before I started shaking. That's progress, right? :D

Maybe risking too much info here

That's great information, Stickygirl! Thank you! You've given me some ideas for when I've (hopefully) completed the plank challenge. The exercise where he's pushing off the ground with his arms brings back memories. Back in my ballerina days, I used to be able to hold that position without using my arms. I'd like to be able to do that again.

My lazy ass is just now up and moving. The kids have a snow day today, so I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep.

Deadlift day and rowing soon.

11k run today

Maybe I should do some planking too?

Today was bike/weights/run for me. Gotta pick another race for this summer so I can focus my training!

My husband's work gym is having a plank contest sometime this month. The prize is a bottle of water and a granola bar. Woo.

I should start doing planks whether I take part in the contest or not.

..omg, that is a really lame prize. Can't they at least throw in a T-shirt?

My goal is to lose 50 more lbs. I started training for a 5k and I'm doing 20 minutes of general circuit training/day (except Wednesday's I just walk a mile). I'm eating veggies and protein and oat bran only. Tell me I'm going to make it! LOL

I cut out sugar almost completely and I've had a headache for 3 days. It's like I'm a druggie who is detoxing.

Lord I hope I don't lose my tits. I don't want them to shrivel away.

Wow a whole bottle?!

I love threads like this, I love the fitness subject. :)

Ok well. I am trying to cut out sodium. I haven't had fast food in a year this May. And celebrated with White Castle later last year. I barely eat candy. Haven't had anything since Halloween, a relapse. But before that haven't had any since the summer 2014. Haven't had bacon or red meat as much, like not even once a month. My battle is those damn cookies.

I am a pescatarian; only eating seafood and mollusks, lobsters, shrimp, etc. Love my fish. Tuna/albacore, perch, salmon, tilapia...trying to expand of course.

Go more organic, less packaged. More homecooked food, less takeaway.

Always have my water, less caffeinated stuff except when I really need my energ'z.

I also walk practically everywhere now. Less train and taxi, less elevator. Hmm...so yea.

I'd also love to join an aerobics or yoga class, or cardio kickboxing again.
