Not too sure if there is a thread about this, but here you go! I love food and I cook for a living so why not show you the goodies I make at my job. Here is one of our seafood dishes we make. Everything is fresh and made in house. Even the caramel and we pickled our nuts. Enjoy

Didn't realize we were 5 year olds.....Its supposed to be a thread where people can share foods that they like and even share recipes. not 5 year old cheap laugh shit

Oh, you must be new to the General Board.

Good luck!

(This will be a popular thread for days)

Beautifully plated. People are missing out if they don't realize that making a meal pleasing to the eye adds another element to the meal.

Nyotaimori

Thank you, google.

You're welcome, Libsam!

What is the translation for Nyotaimori, Libsam? Google says that " Nyotaimori" in Engish is "Nyotaimori" which is no help at all.

On the other hand translating "Nyotaimori" from English into Japanese yields: 女体盛り or "Nyotai-mori"

Most definitely. I work in a 5 star restaurant. The plate I showed costs easily 20 bucks. It's about presentation. We aren't barbarians, its an art form and I think that's why I love cooking. Its a chance to express myself on a plate

It looks delicious and I don't want to critique but the scallop on the left looks to be much more seared than the other two. Shouldn't they all be the same colour?

According to the Wikipedia article (thought there seems to be no citation for this part) it translates as "serve (foods) on the female body". The male equivalent is (again, apparently no citation) nantaimori (男体盛り).

It got all the sauce too.

Your thread header is misleading,

maybe it should have been something more like, Food Snob Pics.

Seriously.
