Wait. Are these really ample lids?
Make sure the jar lip is clean, no bits of what you're canning on them. I always wipe them off with a cloth after filling the jars, before placing the lids on.
I did 60 quarts of pickles, plus some other stuff, this summer and they all sealed without issue.
Sometimes the lids don't seal right. Is it okay to reuse them?
