Instead, I looked for a way to make others happy and also myself at the same time...and one of the ways I have done this was to become a sports coach for special needs kids...WOW! I am so glad I decided to do it...because since becoming a coach two years ago, it has enriched my life immensely. I cannot even put it all into words how rewarding this has been for me...when they give me a high five, or give a genuine hug, or an enormous smile , THAT is happiness...I know it is not the same as having my very own child, but I have embraced a different path that God has chosen for me to walk along, in order to love children and be loved in return...

Every year, as far back as I can remember, I would buy my Daddy a box of chocolate covered cherries for Christmas (Momma bought 'em when I was little, but they were "from" me). He'd open them, then I'd sit in his lap and we'd eat the whole box. No one else in the family likes them. I still buy him a box every year and we eat them together.

*this thread topic may make me cry*

I love the tiny traditions....the orange in the toe of my sock....my dad making terrible gravy every year and no one saying anything...isn't that funny? we tend to think of traditions as event oriented - but those little things that we pass on to our children get missed. I still think of my parents every time I put a little whipped cream castle on the hot chocolate and sprinkle it with gold sugar.. because it's a tiny little tradition.![]()
*I will not cry*...so sweet...My Dad always got a big tin of Almond Roca every Christmas. We would each put one in our mouths and go "mmmm mmmmm mmmm". What a sweet memory.

You are both Welcome for the memory. For me, the cherry cordials were for my Nana. Every year she got a couple boxes. I never really cared for them, but God! She loved them. The Fudge was for my father. We'd make it together and eat it before it set up. Hard candies were made by my Nana. My Holidays have never been the same since they passed away.
The sweet tooth was definitely tempted yesterday, that's for sure.
Temptation, that lure, that Siren song, trying to have us do something we know we probably shouldn't. Will we get caught, is it really that bad for us, is it really that good? Everyday we are tempted, be it here or in real life. Will you give in? Will you avoid it? Will you have remorse after you'be indulged?
Will today be the day you answer temptation's sweet call?
You can always throw it back up later anyway... if we're being honest. I have done that... not habituallyThat is easy to answer, Chained.
Quite often I listen to the Siren's song, sometimes I feel remorse about it. Most often when the song was sung by some nice chocolates. Or cookies. Or dessert. Or cake.
Interesting reference to the sirens call. The sweet tooth was definitely tempted yesterday, that's for sure.

It depends on what kind of temptation we're talking about in my mind. If you get caught eating chocolate, is it really THAT bad? Who's to say you shouldn't be eating it? I suppose indulging at 3 a.m. is unconventional, but really? My devil-may-care attitude says, screw it. I'll eat whatever I want, whenever I want.![]()
I suspect we're not talking about that here.
If we're talking about the Lit variety, I will indulge when I have the inclination and the time. The restriction for me is time wise really. Scheduling can be quite a chore for me these days. *grin* As far as remorse goes, the only remorse I have is having to play calendar roulette because I've indulged WAY too much.
The pursuit of pleasure is a noble one, especially if it is your own.![]()

Shhhhh! Don't tell everyone! There are too many guys around here as it is!Well, ya see.. There's this *thing" most females experience that modern medicine calls "Estrous"..
Its a fairly elusive window of time that if the right male of our species is lucky enough to spot..he gets rewarded
And if said male knows what he's doing.. He gets repeatedly rewarded.![]()
How about room and board?Happy Saturday!
We've all thought about it. Some of us even dabble in it a bit here. But how much money would it take for you to change careers right now and get into porn? Not just a one time thing but a career where you would have dozens of movies doing all the perverted things we all watch. Maybe even your own youporn category.
