Can anyone tell me why or how anyone can justify the riots and looting?

I agree! Lets keep talking about Ray Rice. The good Lord knows we haven't fully covered that event enough.

You're being sarcastic but I honestly don't think we've addressed some issues with the Ray Rice scenario.

This is what powerless people do in the face of Power, to prove there is a limit to their power.

Power will eventually address the injustices which inspire this kind of thing, because besides retaining power, one thing Power really wants to retain is order.

^^This^^

Woof!

How I feel about the Michael Brown Case

I don't agree with the riots at all. People always see things as a racial issue, because they fail to face the facts. Michael Brown was caught stealing, assaulted the store-owner, walked out with his friends thinking he was going to get away with it, walked in the middle of the street with his friend (why? what if an ambulance was driving down? Would you not get out of the way because "you're almost to your destination?" BS, get out of the street). If Michael Brown did as he was told, he probably wouldn't have been noticed as the person reported stealing. So they get into a scruffle, and what I want to know is, why didn't his friend say anything? He's acting so big and bad after the fact, but when your friend got shot, where the hell were you? Did you tell your friend to just get back on the sidewalk? No, you didn't say anything.

Even if the police officer was racist, it was set up for Michael Brown to get what he deserved later. The store owner was the victim, and Michael Brown later became the victim. What goes around, comes around.

In some cases this is true for the political zealot...but I think most people its just an easy way to steal. They don't care about their community or rights or justice...only themselves.

yeah, because nonviolence never succeeded as means to effect change, right?

Just cheaper tea. In the most racist way possible. "Let's do redface and blame it on Injins!"

Was not just tea...but this was not a riot or looting...it was symbolic protest in my opinion of all taxes imposed. Well considering all the genocide that followed this was symbolic as well comparatively.

They were not trying to get free tea:rolleyes:

Nope.

This is what powerless people do in the face of Power, to prove there is a limit to their power.

They were attempting to right what THEY saw as an injustice but they did damage and steal private property.

Doesn’t it strike you as a little strange that these instances of "stealing" mostly occur after an unarmed teenager is shot and killed?

You don’t see how some segments of their community could see that as injustice?

Woof!

All taxes? Which taxes would they be, then?

It's /weird/ how much less symbolic genocide seems when it's your family. I mean, that's weird, right?

Fuck stamps, amIright!? hahahahaha when was the last time I bought stamps...

The tea... I don't even like tea, but the gf chugs that shit, almost exclusively, I believe, and have stated many times, because Bennidict Britishname drinks it in Sherlock.

I don't hold with looting and rioting just because you don't like something.

Never, ever Elect me for Governor if I was stupid enough to run. I will NOT put up with that shit and I don't give a fuck Who they are, or why.

I would have called out the guard, declared Marshall Law basically read them the riot act and told them you riot, you loot we shoot.

The second day it would have been pretty damned quite around there or we would use up more ammo until it was.

People don't like this but in the liberal place we live in it is the only thing to keep the peace.

And don't bother ragging on me... you know I'm not going to change my mind.

Don't know what a liberal place is, but this is the wrong attitude. The people that are rioting are emotional. And violence will only enhance their emotions. At first shot you will cause a war. And next thing you know the rioters will start shooting back. And if they die, it will be a racial war. Best thing to do is don't pay them attention and let them steal.

Dressing up was symbolic.. not the genocide...that was absolutely horrible and I do have Mohican ancestry.

Are you Danial Day Lewis?

And it wasn't symbolic, it was literally, "We're shitfaced drunk and maybe they'll mistake us for savages and we won't have to deal with this when we sober up."

Much of our revolution began with the phrase, "Let's get shitfaced drunk." Much like, "Let's get shitfaced drunk and tell the king he can fuck himself. Make a list. Everybody come up with 5 reasons the king can fuck himself!"

"Like the country?"

"No, specifically George!"

"..dude I know it was a bad breakup but-"

"FUCK GEORGE! I need a refill."

Ha!

We have been at war for several decades.

This was planned Riot and planned Looting.

Assault, Arson, Breaking and Entering, Theft, Grand Theft, engaging in organized crime.

I'd give them some emotions! 5.56 Cal. Fear!

It's time this country drew a hard line... this bullshit is Bullshit.
