Gasoline was $1.86 on BO's first day.
It was $1.59 when Bush took office and went to $4.10 under him.

PayDay said:So this is at kbate: Could you frame the argument of these three posts into one complete statement?
I'm having a hard time understanding what your point is, it seems like partisan angst but there's something good here:
#358: http://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=62250203&postcount=358
and you sound more and more like a Rush Limbaugh tape.
You still cling to the "No increase in prices despite all of these jobs having to go under American Labor laws" story while at the same time you and your 'bros' claim that a higher minimum wage will raise prices and destroy jobs".
So now how do you wish to reconcile your two theories about wages, job creation and market price?
Or is it just the, "That's another thread" thing?
Or do you also demand repeal of the minimum wage along with the expulsion order for 20 million illegals and while you're at it an end to social security, medicare, workman's comp and all taxes?
#363: http://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=62250983&postcount=363
Who makes the minimum is irrelevant to this thread, but you're wrong about that claim as well.
Other wages do not track the minimum wage, in fact more jobs are dropped to the minimum than receive wage increases upon a government mandated raise the wage. Those who made 9 an hour will continue to make 9 an hour if the minimum wage becomes 9 an hour. The few who are worth more, will get raises 6 to 9 months after a minimum wage hike.
But nice try and nice red herring.
Dead right on the bold.---^ There is already some threads for that. I link'd them.

So you in your good time-honoured libertarian fashion wish to use government force to prevent labour from selling itself cheaply. No, you want to go full socialist and blame the management for being greedy dog-eat-dog tactics. If someone is willing to work for less, isn't it stupid for management to pay more?
The least amount a worker is willing to accept to do the labour is the value of the work. Isn't that the purity of John Galt's message?
If Americans wouldn't demand higher wages for work valued lower - then they would have those jobs and the illegals wouldn't be here at all. That's the entire economic theory you espouse. Labour deserves nothing except the price the labour market demands.
If you press companies to pay "living wages" while cheaper work is available, won't they follow your advice in the minimum wage thread and move to where labour is cheap?
...and then there is #287:
Yes indeed. 20 million will simply pack up and go home. Party's over.
there's some "right thinking".
I guess you plan to shoot them if they don't go.
I lol'd at this---^ and not in a mean way. We already have Law Enforcement in place the remedies this. On this one point I must disagree, getting rid of illegals would be no worse than a tune up on a used car. This isn't a partisan issue as it is a law enforcement issue.
Are you trying to start arguments based on conjecture?
Why are you so angry?
You took that to be angry?
You tried to show great price increases by using the ten year low point in order to say that "Obama policy caused this!".
I gave no conjecture, I gave you a simple fact.
I'll ask again kbate: since you skipped right past it, or ignored it, I think:

Here's another right wing rag for you. Get rid of your denial, and get a clue:
So, how do these regulations help the planet?
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/e...hanks-to-epa-coal-regulations/article/2543871
Pure assumption. You brought Bush into this in an attempt to shift blame and point fingers elsewhere.
It was 1.86 when BO started. What is it now?
Why is that?
I'm angry at the scope of the regulations that precipitated the need for those loans. The next Congress will limit the regulatory authority of the EPA.
I never read your posts. Sorry, but that's just how it is. The format you chose makes them a pain to read, with text hidden in blocks of quoted material.
I am simply asking the OP to reconcile the beliefs (from multiple threads). He has posted diametrically opposing attitudes towards the low-wage labour market.
When the president and democrats talk about minimum wage - the battle line is "Lost jobs, Higher product prices"
When he talked about removing illegals from low wage jobs and filling them with higher wage American workers, he claimed, "no lost jobs, no higher product prices." You may notice that he never attempted to answer me because he is wrong on ALL counts.
The other bit. He claims that if we make it impossible to easily employ illegals by making it a felony, that they will simply leave. I consider that nearly laughable. He also comes up with no way to remove them. The 11 to 20 million is a large number, and we have nowhere near the enforcement apparatus to evict that number of people without violence and keeping them out is just as unlikely without turning into a complete police state.
Nobody wants that except the extremists.
Which is why we cannot pass an immigration bill, because we are so divided in this nation that something between Ishmael's plan (draconian enforcement on all parties involved) and my plan (deport criminals, don't deport workers and give them a path to become legal. Register, waiting list, taxes, established residence) is impossible to create. Republicans like a dog to kick, Gays, Women, Illegals. Democrats like a dog also, but they prefer to spoil it. Neither wants a realistic solution.
Sending them back where they came from when being imprisoned here is better than their lot in many places isn't a real option.
I am not angry, I find most of this hilarious. Watching people bring Lenin, Mises, "national death", teenagers, and the kitchen sink to the table to prove that illegal aliens are the debil makes me laugh.
Yes, because clean air is the debil.
Pure assumption. You brought Bush into this in an attempt to shift blame and point fingers elsewhere.

God this is stupid. Borderline Queerbait stupid.
You're using the Fallacy of the Small Sample: During the depths of Bush Recession, the price of gas plummeted to 1.86 briefly as the number of Americans out of work increased.
If you look at the average price of gas during the last 4 years of the failed Dubya regime, or even one year, you'd see that the average price of gas was higher during the Dubya adminsitration.
Don't go full Queerbait on us. It's unmanly.
Yes, because clean air is the debil.
Tell that to India and the Chinese.
Guess you missed the announcement yesterday.![]()
So you have nothing to say? Gotcha.
Also: Thought you had me on ignore...
rofl. You're fucking retarded. Then is not Now. Also debunked.
Cool story bro.
Just how clean do you think it should be?
Ishmael
Looks like Vetty's auditioning replacements to fill the shoes of his dearly departed Boo Boo Bear.
Are we really doing the what gas was when Obama took over dance?
