It's an internecine squabble over money, mostly.
The Dems in general and Harry in particular are irritated with him for not turning over his war-chest and not using his only real strength...celebrity... to fundraiser for them this last election. They blame him for the loss, instead of looking in the mirror at their own LWCJ problems.
"If only we could have gotten our (resoundingly rejected) message out louder and more often!"
Democrats could salvage their brand by letting Obama take the fall he deserves for his intransigence. You slap some bi-partisan bills on Obama's desk for the things that the Dems more or less agree with Republicans and make him sign it.
Even better find some issue that Dems want, Obama doesn't and over-ride a veto. They would then call themselves "the party of yes and compromise" instead of "the party that calls the other party the party of no whilst digging in their heels in unintentionally ironic hypocrisy" which is much too long a title.

With a 39 percent approval rating if only 9% or republicans approve, that means somewhere around 30% of all Democrats disapprove.
