Seriously he had a pretty tough job to say the least, when the world had it's worst recession for many years. Also he had to pacify so many people by simply being black. In my opinion he was in a no win situation. Great salesman though...
 
Ok first his mother is white...enough with the black....I don't care if the fuckin guy is purple....nothing is getting done....its a friggin shame...but now we have 2 years of bullshit..If the job is too hard he should have not run again...he did

In the 70s he put the Royalty back in the saddle, died, and Juan Carlos let the socialists back in. Now Spain is in deep shit once again and the Muslims are blowing up trains.

I lived it in Spain and found it sympatico with my sentiments. People fared better and had more liberties than we have here. What you couldn't do was perform your shit on the street. You did it at home or at a designated place for it. The cops kept the designated playgrounds safe for the players, and the streets safe for horses, kids, and old people. Its when I embraced fascism.

Franco was a traditionalist authoritarian, not a fascist (though he was supported by the Spanish fascists, the Falangists). He lacked the imagination to be a fascist -- he was "a cop, not an artist."

A leader inspires us to be our best selves through example. Trust is important. This requires being truthful and open. Ethical behavior is paramount.History will not be kind to this president.
