I liked the idea of calling it "Building: A Zombie RP", like we did with our current IC. Kind of a way to connect it even more.

Well, Wombat and BP, that was my idea behind the special team which stays with Daniel and keeps him happy: to have him under control, to have a constant check on his mental state, also to keep in check with his general health: what if he got the flu? Would a fever mean he would lose control over the zombies? The Knights don't know yet that those who had Napoleon will be immune against all common illnesses ...

Ria is willing to trust him, but also very cautious.

Daniel doing a tour every month is a good idea too, the team would accompany him and protect him and deal with zombies in the last stage as well as with potential bloomers (or seeders, if we stay with the idea MM posted a while ago and which elaborated a bit upon).

I just want to make sure I have this completely understood before I make my final post in our current IC thread. This team would definitely contain people cautious of him, wary of him, and probably distrustful of him, but it's not like he is chained to a wall or anything, right? Like, he just is escorted everywhere by this team, constantly kept an eye on, but not completely imprisoned? Any limits on where he can roam, or can he go wherever he feels like in the Winery?

Yes, I would say so. He is free to go where he wants, but with an escort. And maybe some people have made it clear they don't want to see him in their houses, so those places would be off-limits for Daniel.

A mix of people, or people being in the team for mixed reasons, but all take care of Daniel, and all are very aware of the fact they might have to kill him some day. Which takes strong people, 'pampering' him and protecting him, but also ready to kill him.

I will wait a bit with my last post too, until we have these things sorted and fitting in with MM's last post.

I'll also wait a little bt before posting, kind of to let everyone else set the scene, and to end it with Daniel, who seems to be a little bit of the center of the plot now. Or at least, his abilities and mental state affecting them.

Great. Ria would want to be part of the team. Where will Daniel live?

He will have to have his own private quarters for sure, since no one would want to share a room with him. He would also probably need to live in an entirely different section from the rest of the general population, also for fear of him. So I would say, probably at Kings in some isolated spot, keeping him distanced from where everyone else is lviing, but still easily accessible in the event of an attack, for instance.

I am not awfully familiar with the layout of the Winery, as you can clearly see, so I guess the actual place of his residence is up to you, dutchrain.

Mm, I don't think it is practical to have Daniel living at the winery, it is too far away from Eugene and Daniel wouldn't be able to control the zombies there since the Knights diminished the zombie population substantially and the reach of his power got less. We need to establish a perimeter for his powers, will it include all of Eugene and Springfield, or just a part of it?

I would say pick a nice big building in Eugene, defendable, with quarters, a kitchen, a dinner room and maybe a gym or whatever Daniel likes to have around.

I think the guards all live in the same place as Daniel does, but have a rotation cycle with off days on which they are free to leave.

A few posts ago someone mentioned Daniel doing a 'sweep', a tour once a month, around Eugene with a visit to the King's, to detect freshly arrived zombies and 'seeders'.

300 yards is a bit small, I think. How about a radius of a mile? Depending on how many zombies are around, he would have more, or less reach. So out at the country, his reach would be quite small, unless a 'herd' shows up.

Yes to the story-lines. With at least three centers (King's and Daniel) and MM's Portland, we'll have a lot of possibilities.

With power plant up phones and computers and things could be up and running, but rationing would probably restrict it to say, lights, essential equipment, Maybe a radio station to keep people updated on whats going on (just local), and maybe phones or CB radios.

Also outlying Farms could be reattatched to the grid and CB units scrounged for them Or they would be allowed to use their phones for emergency use only and for weekly check ins and reports.

If that crap continues I will be blocking any future posts. I mean did you read any of the proceeding storyline at all! Basically no electricity except via generators. No Internet as this crashed early on as the servers went down all over the world. Actually it may have survived but in it's original primitive form as the military version it was at the start as they may be the only servers still active. Phones would be dead except in areas such as ours where local power plants have been activated again.
