I used to have several piercings. They aren't any more difficult to keep clean than your clit would be. The hole heals quickly and it's just skin, not an open wound. Do you have your ears pierced? It's the same thing.

As for the look of them, that's up to the individual of course but I love the visual.

Its pretty much about ascetics and how it feels for myself and my partner. I only had one special lady friend complain about how it felt. Uncomfortable/odd was how she phrased it.

Utilitarian, because I've heard friends and read reviews stating some piercings on the genetilia enhance sensitivity, and that this experience depends from person to person. There are varied views on the comfort front of this. Which made me think: can people separate the piercing from the pain? Some images invoke tactile memories. For me, piercings equate pain. Which is why I don't get even the so commonly understood aesthetics of it. I wanted other views.

Talk of uncomfortable explanations.. 'No ma'am, I'm not carrying any concealed arms there. You see, it's just a case of an overenthusiastic piercing spree. Involved a lot of alcohol and support from my partner, *wink wink*'. The security's expression would be..... Something to behold.

I used to have a clit hood piercing. It didn't hurt much, relatively speaking, healed VERY quickly, and since I'm a generally hygienic person, keeping it clean was a cinch.

It didn't increase sensitivity, though.
